Update. No longer have the fiance. But still have the car. Rather it be the reverse. Car is currently stripped down to bare metal. I have rebuilt the rocker panels myself. really an easy task. And at 500 a piece well worth it. When my fiance and I were walking around lake tapps afew weeks age we spotted this black car approaching. Her comment was WHAT IS THAT, I LIKE THAT. I told her that is a datsun roadster. The rest is history. We now own one. I found this one on craigs list for a bargin at $1000.00. It ran (very rough though) Well after towing it home, I just had to drive it. So the next day. I went through the brakes and clutch, a little addjustment to the timing and she was on the road. Ofcourse its going to need restored. I new that going in. But I just had to drive it before tearing into it this winter. I very much look forward to it. Well at least I say that now. Ha Ha Ha.I love it.

Great starting place for a project SPL311. Take a look at mine to get an idea of what is involved. It took me 20 months to finish mine. I would be happy to answer any questions if it would save you time and $$ instead of learning the hard way like I did.

Nice roadster project! Great find especially for the price! Good luck with the restoration! Can't wait to see it finished!
