Body work started
I picked up a set of turbo wheels from a 10 anniversary edition trans am and re done them in gold.
Finished up the body work and shot the primer on...still have some little spots to fix up but shes almost ready for paint.
Here it is jammed and then painted.
Installed the new specialty lug nuts, centercaps and four 225/70/15 tires on the turbo wheels that I refinished. Also the interior and dash is ready to be installed.
The assembly starts with marker lights, headlights, tail lights, locks, door handles, etc.
Kick panels, door windows and sweeps installed
Carpet, console, interior panels installed
All seats get recovered, here is before and after plus some installed pics
Door panels were then installed and everything else was buttoned up and got it started up and pulled it out for some pics for the 1st time.
Pulled the rusty manfolds off to install the new dual exhaust system. In the process had to deal with some broken off bolt heads in the heads so I had to tear the hole top of the engine off to get them right. Installed the tips and all. Installed the alpine/kenwood system and built the custom rear enclosure for it all. Painted the ttop trim and adjusted the hood.
Recieved my dash dezel and shift plate back from Randy Combs, who did a very nice job restoreing them to factory condition, Thanks again!!! Its also getting a new starter this week and some other touches.
I installed all the Y84 decals and stripes,,, she is very close to being done....but is it really ever done???
