This is a page of things I've been playing with in the last year or so. for the most part, it's just parts of previous systems.

This was a box I was playing around w/earlier in the year......

Here's the finished product in-car. The larger chamber is exactly twice as big as the smaller chamber. All three ports are the same length. I used 3" ports here but have since switched to 4". Frequency response(out of car) is from about 18hz-75ish the lower tuning freq is at about 23hz, the upper tuning freq is at about 45hz.

I threw in 4" ports all around and took another pic. Same box, just more breathing room.

Here's a few shots of the old mounting bracket for the car....
koolade27's 1995 Mitsubishi EclipseI made the mounting plate out of 1/4" plexi, here's the test mount before I paint it.
The back of it was painted black and remounted.koolade27's 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse

On a side note, we've been building a new DJ setup for the house.
koolade27's 1995 Mitsubishi EclipseThis is the stand we built.(sorry it's a crappy pic) It houses the sub amp, the highs amp, the controller for the lights, two cd players, and the mixer in the middle with an extra power strip for misc. lights/fog/strob/etc..
Behind the stand, we mounted a lanzar opti 2-way crossover to split up the signal. We used an old computer power supply to give us the 12v.
koolade27's 1995 Mitsubishi EclipseWe used an Image Dynamics CS1.6 component set as our highs w/the csx1 xovers hidden away with fans cooling them(running off the same computer power supply)
They definatly get loud and are extremely clear. Everyone here was pretty impressed.
koolade27's 1995 Mitsubishi EclipseThis is a bad picture of the sub-enclosure. We used a pair of MTX 6000 15s in an 8 ft^3 enclosure tuned to 34hz. They get really loud, which is nice so we don't have to keep the amp gain up.

It's not really car-audio related...but we used all car-audio speakers:)
