Here's my progress on my kickpanels thus far: I taped off the kick of the car completely to keep the resin from bleeding through and laid out the carpet for the base of the kick. I made speaker rings out of 3/4MDF(that's all I had at the time) and got them positioned how I wanted. I sacrificed a sweatshirt to use as the material for the baffle and sides, it worked out pretty well. Here's the kick out of the car and ready to be trimmed. After trimming and some cutting.> I've cut out a few parts so the driver will fit better and have a smoother transition. I've built it up since. These are the only pics I have of them so far. I'm just about done w/the passanger side one and I'll post those pics up pretty soon too.
Here's a recent picture of them in the car. I test mounted them and I need to do a little shimming to angle them a little better. Here's the most recent pictures of the finished product. Vinyled... Here's a couple of the kicks in the car.
I've since started constructing Aperiodic enclosures for the 8's.
