I picked up this car from my brothers friend this summer. It is a 1988 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. Initially I spent most of my time trying to get it running good enough to pass emissions test and safety. The intoduction page shows all the mods prior to me purchasing the vehicle. I was orginally told by the previous owner of this vehicle that this was a 350ci V8, althought i found out later that this car has a 305ci V8 engine that was installed sometime prior to me purchasing it and is not the original engine. I have had a few people comment that this is not a Z28, but the ownership to the car states that it is an 1988 Chev Camaro Z28.

The gauges shown in the pod are the engine temperature, voltage meter and engine oil pressure. The other gauge on the right is the tachometer. They were professionally installed before i bought the car, so I'm not exactly sure how they were wired.

These pictures were taken soon after purchasing the car. The engine shown is not the original engine and is a 305ci V8. When i bought it most of it was pretty dirty and actually missing the odd part here and there which was kind of strange. Also a few connectors wernt even connected and just dangling around.

(These pictures show the air cleaner removed while i was installing a new EGR Valve and water pump)

These three pictures were taken after i shampooed under the hood. Didn't come out too bad, I was happy that the car even started.
