picked up a new set of wheels for the car, just need to get a set of wheel spacers.

I put the hood scoop off the 80 on yesterday & today. I think 79 tear drop scoop looks good on a third gen hood, it was a pain in the ass to do.

Finished fixing the roof 2 weeks ago, stripped and primed the rear quarter last week and finished the hood today.

Did a tuneup on the car Monday plugs, wires, cap, rotor, also put a new fuel filter on. The car would only run for a few seconds then die, well turns out some one put the fuel filter on backwards and of course the motor started & run but died because it couldn't get enough fuel pressure to stay running through the backwards filter. Put the hood off my 86 on today, it looks about 75% better. Might finish sanding the roof if it isn't 105 out tomorrow.

Here is the new car i'm picking up this weekend to rebuild for my mom. I figured she can drive it till the motor blows or the trans goes out then i'll pull the 305 out of my car and drop it in this one.

The car after a good wash

Rear quarter damage, looks worse then it is.

A little wax and all the rust stains came off the paint.
