Fiberglass kicks

My first ever fiberglass project was the kick panels. They hold a 4" Pioneer midrange and Cerwin Vega tweeter, the doors have Cerwin Vega 6-1/2" for midbass using some 1" spacers. Sony Mini Disc player CDX-7900

Autometer 3-3/4 Tach

Installation was simple.... power, ground, lights and the signal wire that simply connects to the MSD Ignition box.

I started building a center console to hold some Autometer gauges and I got a 2-5/8 Voltmeter. I ended up putting the volt meter under the heater controls using a bracket from the parts store.

New Carpet and Alpine radio (CDA-7875)

TV screen and DVD installed

Nesa NRM-7001r (silver trim) 7" wide LCD screen and Alpine DVA-5205 DVD Player using Ai-Net. I used the console I started to build for my Autometer gauges to mount the TV.
New Internal radio antenna.

Center console/Sub box construction

I started with two 8" Fosgate HX2's and cut the 2 pieces that would hold them and put them together at an angle.
Then the frame was put together and the fiberglass cloth stretched over the sides and bottom of the frame.

Body filler and lots of sanding to get the smooth curve on top and on the sides. The seats hold the box in place and keep it from moving forward.
Autometer Voltmeter(2-1/16")
I went with a smaller volt meter because it's easier to mount.

89' Integra seats.
I wanted to be able to use the factory holes so I had to bring the brackets closer together (Acura brackets were too far apart). I went to the Junk yard and got an extra pair of Nissan seat rails (I used the ones on the bench seat aslo). I got some 3" wide plate and cut them to 15" and mounted them on the seats. Then I drilled holes for the inner brackets (to clear the center hump) Once the inner brackets were mounted I had to measure how far to bring the outer brackets to line up with the holes.

These seats gave me 8" clearance. I put a 8" Bazooka tube between the seats as an arm rest and for bass.

93' Acura Seats
First thing to do is flip the ECU. Located under the drivers side seat. These new seats gave me 10"s between the seats due to the seat belt thingy.. perfect for a 10" Bazooka.

On the inner side of the Acura seats the shoulder belt is attached to the bracket. I removed the seat whole seat belt thing and grinded the studs off.

On the outer side the bracket is attached to the side of the seat (Older seats have the mounting holes on the bottom).

Removed the outer bracket. Then using 2x2 angle plate I drilled holes on the angle plate to mount on the seat. mounting the bracket to the seat helped determine how much the Nissan bracket had to be pushed in to match the holes on the truck. I marked them and drilled holes and attached the Nissan bracket.... Then I had to remove the pin that locks the Nissan rail so it moves freely (Acura inner bracket has the lever to adjust the seat)

Some clean up and they were painted to avoid rusting. Using a radio strap I made a mounting point for the plastic cover like on the factory bracket.
