This is what it was supposed to turn out as.....
tempest's 1988 Mazda RX-7
Too bad its now sitting in the salvage yard :( I had it completely stripped out and ready for build, but then I was forced to move, and couldn't take it with me, so it got towed to salvage by my old roomate...

ENGINE BLOWN!
Car is under full ground up rebuild!

Mods to be done listed below:

Body:
Custom hand-fabbed targa top
Custom shaved tail lights(or custom clear tails)
Custom frenched liscence plate box
Shaved door handles
Lamborghini style doors

Paint:
House of Kolor Tangerine Kandy over silver base

Here's what I've done to it so far:
1) Exaust: replaced mufflers with straight pipe and added 4" tips
2) Intake: bought a tite looking red intake filter, took out the air box, and built a custom adapter to fit the mass airflow sensor.
3) Stereo: Alpine HU, Jensen coaxials in the rear, 4) Performance pedals & shifter
5) Shaved antenna
6) Accented exterior trim red
7) Accented Interior trim red
8) Headlight strobes
9) Interior red accent lights
10) New clutch disk
11) Shaved door handle kit(doors not shaved yet, but kit put in) with alarm

I have info/pics about my old car, 53 chevy delivery, here.

(3-27-02) I sold my whole system except for the HU and the wiring. I'm now saving up for an Inhuman 10" and a new Boss REV 3000D to power it. I'm building a new box for it that will nicely fill the whole back, as well as updating the power wire to 0 awg, and the speaker wire to 8 awg. I'm also waiting for the RX-8 to come out, and I will get that as soon as it does.

I also got in a fender-bender(got sideswipped coming from school). Luckly it just broke the mirror, and bent the already-bent fender. I got a replacement mirror from a bud with an '86 rx-7. I should be getting a new front clip soon anyway, so I don't worry to much about the bent up fenders, front bumper, or hood.
