Here are some photos of my 1967 Lincoln Continental 4-door sedan (also known as a "slab side Lincoln" or "suicide Lincoln") finished in rich Pitcairn Blue metallic (paint code: K) with the original black embassy vinyl top. The blue leather is original and nearly perfect with next to no observable wear, despite the fact that the car has 101,000 miles.  The massive 462ci V8 engine looks nearly new and has remarkable power! It has been exceptionally well cared for. This car has quite a few options including power windows (as well as power vent/wing windows), vacuum door locks, pwr. seat with the rare passenger side extendable headrest and recliner. It has the optional automatic climate control with original R12 refrigerant that works great - no leaks and blows nice and cold at the lower temp range and automatically switches to warm air as the baffles direct the airflow to the floor as you rotate the temperature dial to the warm end of the temperature range.  It has cruise control, tilt steering wheel, power remote trunk lid release, and the optional AM radio/stereosonic tape player (8-track) with a power antenna.  I bought an old 8-track tape and put it in the radio - it worked beautifully and you can skip through the tracks by depressing the left knob.  Too cool!  The windshield wipers are vacuum controlled and work flawlessly.  The vacuum door locks still operate even after leaving the car sitting for more than a week.  Even the clock works!

Amazingly, there are no cracks in the padded dash and even the radio speaker grille is not cracked!  The brushed aluminum finish on the dash board is nearly flawless.  There is NO rust anywhere and the carpets show almost no wear. It's very hard to believe that the car has 101,000 miles because it's so close to showroom condition. The previous owner(s) REALLY took care of it. I got lucky with this car.  It is stupid nice and I absolutely LOVE it!

Production figures for 1967

CONTINENTAL 2DR COUPE (CODE 65A) - 11,060 UNITS

CONTINENTAL 4DR SEDAN (CODE 53A) - 32,331 UNITS

CONTINENTAL 4DR CONVERTIBLE (CODE 74A) - 2,276 UNITS

TOTAL LINCOLNS FOR 1967: 45,667 UNITS.

I got a Marti Report for my car and the "Statistics" for my car is pretty cool.  It compares the features of my car to the total production for 1967.

My car is Model Code 53A (4-door sedan) and was 1 of a total of 32,331 4-door sedans and 1 of 45,667 total Lincols produced in 1967.

Of all the 45,667 Lincolns produced in 1967, my car is only one of:

1,227 with Paint Code K "Pitcairn Blue" (only 2.7% of '67 Lincolns in this color)

81 with these paint and trim codes  (only 0.0018% of all 1967 Lincolns)

32,295 with these engine/transmission codes  (70.1% of all 1967 Lincolns)

945 ordered from this DSO (District 51, Denver)

8,636 with AM/8-Track Stereo Radio  (only 18.9% of all 1967 Lincolns)

Apparently, someone tried to snatch the hood ornament and stretched the spring. (This is the way it was when I got the car.) I took it off and, using small curved needle-nose pliers, fixed the spring so that the hood ornament sits as it should. This is before I fixed, so the ornament looks a little tired.

It now has tinted windows (not too dark, though).  It keeps the searing Florida sun out, plus I think it looks much better!

Kinda gangsa!  (lol!)

Look here, the set button for the cruise control on the end of the turn signal lever is still intact.  Most have long since busted off or fallen apart.

A neat little doodad, a Lincoln Continental matchbook (all the matches are there and the ashtray is clean!)

The interior is in exceptionally nice shape and shows very little wear.

This car has the optional 6-way power bench seat PLUS the optional passenger side reclining seat with power extendable headrest.

Although my 6-way power bench seat with reclining passenger seatback and power head rest is a fairly rare option, I got very lucky and found a truly rare option... power bucket seats with the reclining passenger seat and power head rest, and center storage console.  They are even the right color for my car!
