Engine Swap 1992LE Sunburst
My wife's car needed some more power. Her 1.6L was getting a little tired.
We were able to locate a low mileage (34k) 1.8L engine at a wreckers in Youngstown, Ohio.
Before the install began I cleaned and sprayed the engine with some high temp paint.

You're not seeing double. There really are two 92LE Sunbursts in the garage, both with fresh 1.8L upgrades.
The cam cover was sent out for powder coating. Her 1.6L Racing Beat intake was adapted for the 1.8 engine. We used the Flyin' Miata conversion kit as well.
Here is the final product.
She is a happy woman, ergo, I am a happy man.
