unclemurray's 1968 Ford Falcon My first car was a 69 Falcon Sports Coupe with a 302(back in 1975!).This car was originally a 6cyl. car, the entire drivetrain has been replaced. The 351W has Edelbrock Performer series cam and intake,600cfm carb and roller timing chain and sprockets.Hedman shorty headers, dual exhaust with crossover gives a deep, throaty powerful sound.
unclemurray's 1968 Ford Falcon The motor is mated to an AOD tranny and 3:55 rearend giving it good bottom end torque and overdrive long legs for highway cruisin. Magnum 500 wheels cover the updated disc brakes for better stopability.
unclemurray's 1968 Ford Falcon The car was stripped to bare metal to rid it of a bad Maaco paint job. Side mouldings were removed and 69 style side clearance lights were added for a cleaner look.PPG's Flamboyance Ocean Blue looks dark in evening or on cloudy days but the light metalic within the paint looks real sharp in the sunlight.
