Joey's Little Speedshop of Horrors

The Joey's Little SpeedShop of Horrors is a hobby shop for Kia CD-5s and its worldwide variants/versions and selected Mazda vehicles. The primary thrust of the shop is to build and compete Kias for the Autocross and related motorsports without incurring tremendous cost. The low cost and yet high performance based kias has campaigned in various motorsports and by God's blessings consistently received awards at every given race event. Our awards and achievements are the best evidence of performance, where we 'Walk the talk' and 'Mean what we say and say what we mean'

1. Kia frame and body, rebuilt into a 2 Door, modified for low stance and reinforced to accept the rigors of racing(JLSH built);
2. Engine Mazda DOHC B series, Wiseco pistons, Twin Webers, holley regulators, Gates fuel line, Tyler hose clamps;
3. MSD 6 AL, MSD Timing Controls, MSD 2 Step, Twin Coils, Autometer tachometer 3904, Apex Turbo Timer and somitomo electrical cables;
4.JIC Progressive Coil-overs and JIC Camber plates;
5.Rims .01 Designs, Bridgestone Potenza tyres 205 x 50, R 15;

Aircraft alloy pulleys for rigidity at high rpm and modified power steering pump to ensure stable pressure during low rpm.

Mods for Kia Racing Team members:

Yoji's Singleside, solex 50 and Rex's Mikuni Singleside 48 with the consumption of 1 ltr. of gas is to 12 kms. ratio.(Singleside manifolds is an exclusive design concept of JLSH)

Elnor's mazda B5 with vaf(1 is to 18 ratio on gas) and Brutus' Big B series engine(tweaked for racing and everyday use)

Recently completed, the Nil Project, a 3rd Generation Mazda B series engine,modified intake system and tweaked box that is responsive in low band acceleration without the required quantities of fuel.

New projects to enhance power and fuel efficiency:
JLSH intake design concept with air cavity sections and tweaked MAF for the Big B series, so far has added 15% more power and 15% fuel savings. Tyler(US) hose clamps, high pressure rubber connectors that is self adusting/shrinkable when heated.
