Since this car is a work in progress, I'll update this section every time I work on the car. That way everyone will see how slowly I'm getting this done!

March 25, 2008

We recently got a letter in the mail, giving us three weeks to get the car out of here. It stated in part that the car was untagged (untrue) untitled (Can't get a tag without it) and immovable (OK, that one is true)

Since I'm off this week, I get to have some fun!
The modified plan (due to time limitations and finances) is to throw in a functioning 5.0L that I've got hanging around the place, and get the car running and moving, and then to tackle the interior.

It was decided that it would be better to pull it in the garage and take a little more time to put in the right engine.

This is how it sits now (Left) and the engine getting stripped and cleaned (right)

I've just got to replace the sink:

Don't get me wrong, the sink gets great mileage, but it's just a little too heavy, and throws me off in the corners.

Sinks are really awesome things. Almost no leakdown on a good one, even after years of service. Good ones flow several gallons per minute at great PSI. Plus; they're Ceramic coated, so that adds... like... 100HP right there.

Had to move the car as it was getting in the way of several other projects. Had the tow people drop it off at my house. At least three camaros can fit in two spots!
