8/10/07: I bought the Vega and trailered it home

09/09/07: I earned my first ticket. I was doing 70+ mph (the officer said 90, but I'm doubtful) in a 35, failed to signal a lane change, and didn't have my front license plate on the car...which is only because I don't have a bracket or mounting plate. I got off easy and he only wrote the thing about the license plate on my ticket.

09/22/07: In a catastrophic series of accidents which unfold in the course of a few seconds on my drive home from work, I end up with 3 broken belts, 2 split radiator hoses, a junk radiator with a massive hole in it, and a blown head gasket. If you're reading this, the car is still parked.
