***page under construction***

Welcome to My Ride Page

Hey everyone! Thanks for stopping by. On these pages you will find my work in progress, a VIP inspired build on my 1995 Lexus GS300 Touring Edition.

JewishDragon's 1995 Lexus GS-Series JewishDragon's 1995 Lexus GS-Series

This has been a slow build, started during college and continually put on the backburner due to a lack of time. But those that truly love this hobby/lifestyle know that the bug never dies, and the longer it sits, the longer you have to think of all the wonderous possibilities. I've owned this car since 2006 and have spent a good deal of time, money, and energy on my baby. While still a work in progress, I think she's come a long way. So check her out, and let me know what you think!

This first page consists of current pictures of my car as well as descriptions of modifications completed and plans for the future transformation.

The second page is how I decided upon this car in particular to build.

And lastly, the third is an homage to this fine vehicle, the JZS147, the Aristo, the GS.

Thanks for the warning.... but you know where it is installed, right? Down below. It isn't ever in the sun.... but I park in my garage or under a bridge to stay out of the sun and heat, so I've got it covered. Actually, the screen isn't covered because I have no dash lol.

I wasn't entirely sure about the Prizm dash when I thought I'd do it..... so I'm glad I found one in a junkyard so I could check it out myself. It is perfect. Exactly the same underneath. I can't wait! I got it painted black yesterday, and today I'm going back there to pick up the tachometer gauges sitting in the car. I thought maybe I'd be able to use mine since they are pretty nice, but they don't fit in the opening. I'm sure there are a lot of Prizm owners who'd kill for the stock tach, and now a Corolla has one haha. Oh, and the vents for the A/C are still rectangle if you look at the pics.. the bezel is rounded. But it's funny you should mention gauges. Since I put my 7" screen down below, I don't need the stock radio slot, so I was doing to mount 3 gauges in there. But, the Prizm dash has no radio slot, so I won't be doing the gauges after all....such a clean look. They say that I don't need gauges since it is an OEM engine setup. The temperature knobs are going to be a fun swap lol. LOL over the top? Not with the interior, I hope..... I'm TRYING to make it clean and simple haha. The engine, yes.... yummmm We are going to swap the engine in one weekend. I'm buying the front clip and sending it down there and they'll pull it apart and make sure it is top notch before I get there.... and when I do, it is a simple swap, really. Doing the transmission and axles and everything. I imagine it will take me half as long to drive back up here haha. And you say that 180 HP is quick.... well that's what I START with... when I get back, I'm going to have a front-mount intercooler and a pulley kit to increase the boost to 18 psi and the HP to 250!!! wooooowwww faaasttt lol continued in next post....

.....from previous post Hmmm so you've got a body kit now???? Finally made up your mind I guess. I hope that will look really nice, cause if not, I'll have to come up there and rip it off haha. But that is cool about your engine, that you could just turbo it like that. It is like the 4agze, already built like a rock to handle all sorts of boost and fun. So, did you just have to buy the OEM parts and bolt up the turbo? Sounds pretty simple compared to the average turbo install. But yeah, I'll be done by the MIDDLE of October, I can't wait!! lol. Thanks for your interest, and you'll know when I get swapped or sooner.....

Hey Rob, nice to hear from you. Especially when I was right in the middle up putting a whole bunch of stuff up!!!!! Great. How you have to go back and check it out again! hahahaha yes, 4agze. And that picture is the one I'm going to get. I believe it has less than 40,000 miles on it. It is an entire front clip. I love it. No one does this engine... all I hear is 4age all day. And you know I don't like doing what everyone else does. But yeah, I did change my mind about swapping. Gas prices are low enough, I get a serious paycheck twice a month from my government job, and I NEED a new engine no matter what. This one is shot. It won't pass emissions. So, either I can spend over $3000 on a rebuilt 7afe, or I can spend the same money and get a nice 4agze and e58 5-speed. I'm going to drive 12 hours down to Georgia, where Corolla_TC and Shubert_ae102 will hook me up with the swap. I guess I have developed a need for speed because my car is pathetically slow and loud..... looks and sounds like it should be fast, so that makes it worse. But yeah, the entire front end is going in there... a complete swap. It also comes with the super strong axles to handle all the torque. It is nice, for only $500 I can bump the HP up to 250!!! nice. Can't do that on the 4age. This engine is already built for boost and fun. The exhaust is going to be the only problem.... but I'm going to need a completely new exhaust anyways because it's been smoking for too long. I plan on getting this swap done on Columbus day weekend (October 11ish). Just one weekend. So, you're boosted now?? I noticed your page is a lot more simple now... I didn't see anything about boost. You really tore down your page! But, good for you. Is the boost nice? LOL you're talking to me about boosting your stock engine and I can't be excited about that when I'm getting a whole boosted swap .... it will be over twice the HP lol. But yeah, I don't have much time anymore, either now that I work full time for good. But it is still fun!!!! Hit me up after you check out my page.
