This Is my 00' Viggen, Not shure if I wll leave it stock or do a few mods.
I have heard about working with T-7
So far I have done the open air kit from taliaferro a forge BPV and some koni springs and KYB shocks. As far as exterior I put on some BBS RK IIs with Yokohama 235 40s some black window tint and some custom VIGGEN emblems.
This emblem is supposed to represent not only the aircraft hazard symbol but the aircraft, the two middle deltas representing the double delta wing and the front and aft representing the passage through the speed of sound,
I love these wheels but there is a moda Hamann style wheel that looks pretty good.
I like these modas but they are heavier than the BBS and I am not to shure of the quality....... but they retain the original VIGGEN look, I believe that Moda is the same company as Radius "original viggen wheel manufacturer" and fondmetal.
I got the shifter top from taliaferro and it looks nice, I will eventually get a short shifter and replace the 00' trans with an 02' and a quaife limited slip D. Its sad that SAAB could not put an LSD on a 40,000.00 car but a piece o shit SRT-4 gets one???
I updated the grill and I have noticed silver mesh just doesnt look right to me
I hope they make this, wont be called VIGGEN though. And it may have a pontiac block?
This me standing next to my 00'viggen I took best in show and best mods at the SAAB owners convention, Carlisle, etc you know the story.....YEA RIGHT!!! I have always thought the viggen looked good
Here are some updated pics of the car, I am $elling my BBS RK IIs, these originally sell for around $2,200.00 they have good yokohama avs es 100s 235 40 R 17s no curb rash or bends asking 1400.00
Of course these wheels are SAAB style but Hirsch performance wheels are not cheep $$$ Is it worth selling two piece BBS RK IIs for 19" Hirsch wheels.....I dont even know if they will fit but I think most would agree that these are SAAB.
My next steps after painting the grill matte black is to install the 3" down pipe, cobra pipe and the Forge IC
