THE WRECK

This happened 8/14/03 on the Englewood Dam, also known as State Route 40, right between Englewood and Vandalia, Ohio.

Front Driver fender above headlight again. Notice it is cracked all the way inside also.

The damage so far:

hood
bumper cover
impact bar
impact material
license bracket
passenger headlight
rt fender
lt fender
lt fender reinforcement
rt fender reinforcement
2 rims
1 tire
upper engine mount
hood latch
hood hinges
rear sway bar
4 struts
drivers side 1/2 shaft (CV boot torn)
alignment

Most everything is being ordered form 6th Planet Used parts in Florida.

Except I am upgrading to the SPS 16.0 mm 3-way adjustable rear sway bar (bought from SPS)

I am also upgrading the struts to KYB GR2 's on all 4 corners. These are being bought from NopiOnline.com

All work will be done by me and my friends from SPOC OH except for painting the new panels, the alignment, and replacing the tire (unless some of the SPOC people have some expensive equipment in their garage that nobody knows about....).

The parts that have arrived so far. and there are more on their way!

UPDATE - 10-27-03
This weekend, we finished up the work I will be doing myself for this year.
The parts installed / replaced so far:
Drivers side half shaft
Front Strut mounts
KYB GR2 Struts (x4)
Pass. Headlight
Drivers side control arm
Torque Axis mount
SPS 16.0 mm adj. rear sway bar

Once I get the frame straightened in a week or so, I will be putting on the used bumper, bumper cover, and fenders, and the hardware for the hood latch for the winter so everything lines up better. I will also try to bend my hood back into shape so it closes a little better, but I have a brand new hood to go on so it only has primer, so its not going on till its painted. However I am holding off on getting everything painted till spring. Over the winter I'll be cruising in my ghetto-mobile which will be the Dk. Green, with a white front bumper, one bronze, and one purple fender.

Still in the garage:
New Hood
Drv. Fender
Pass. Fender
Bumper
Bumper cover
hood latch
hood latch bracket
hood hinges
fender brackets

After all the work is done and she came home from the body shop!!

Quick question, you say your car is a SL2 how ever your cold air intake (from Vibrant) is for a SL1. I was wondering if it is compatible, no cuting or anything of that nature?
