Although it once had a 360, the van will soon have a 500 HP 440.The block has been bored .040, has a 700 double pumper, single plane intake, .525/312 cam, ported and polished heads with 2.14/1.81 valves, 9.7:1 pistons, Super Comp headers and a 727 trans with a 3500 stall and manual valve body. The interior is also being changed. The first interior I built used a lot of red oak for the overhead console, cabinets, and partition wall. It had a bar, fridge, microwave, and bed. Seats are RCI fiberglass buckets, shifter was a B&M Starshifter. Gauges by Autometer. The new interior will be much lighter and spacious. Other modifications include the deletion of the dashboard. The bed will now be at the side doorsWith a horseshoe shaped bar in the rearAnd a horseshoe shaped overhead console to compliment itI made the console out of 3/8 plywood and held it together with aluminum angle brackets to keep it light.
