This is my '71 Plymouth Scamp. I bought this car from the mechanics shop that would service it for the original owner. Far as the mechanic new, he'd been the only person to service it after the factory warranties expired. Judging the service history he'd mark under the hood with yellow chalk, I really believe him. I bought the car in 1999 for $1700.00, not bad for a car in it's condition. It came with the factory service book that he had soley for this car whenever it need to be serviced, the brouchure that the lady wrote the options she was looking for and some other literature that she kept through the years since '71. The only mods I have made to this car was the rally wheels and the quiet dual exhaust. The vinyl top is original with no sign of wear or fading. The paint is a little faded and has door dings here and there, but for the most part will remain as such. It has a pretty strong 318, 8 3/4 rear end and some K/H calipers (4 piston). Will post more pictures in the near future. I keep this car covered as I have it currently under a non-operation with the DMV.

Nice original looking car. Take care of this one! If you havent run across my page yet, I have posted a couple of original 1971 Chrysler - Plymouth sales brochures. Check out what your car looked like in the original sales brochure, and some of the styles and options that were available in 1971. Its kinda cool! Thanks.
