I have'nt updated my pages for quite some time. Since then I have some new additions to my truck.

Such as an AirAid cold air intake which I did'nt take any pictures.

20" Boss Motorsport chrome wheels wrapped in Hankook 275/55 rubber which makes for some better handling and traction.

Also a 3" mandrel bent cat back exhaust with a Ravin high flow muffler. You can't really see much in this picture other than the tail pipe.

Here are a couple shots of what the truck looks like now with the 20" wheels. The disc brakes look small now compared to the wheels. Some 13" cross drilled rotors would look good. Hmmmmm....

I plan on lowering it 4" in the back and 3" in the front. Before I get anyone complaining that I should'nt lower a 4X4...Well, sorry I want it lowered to lessen the ugly fender to wheel gap. I don't go off roading so I don't need the height. I want 4 wheel drive mainly for winter driving and the occasional off road detour.

I got a 3/4 drop by cranking the factory torsion bars almost all the way out on the front. The back was done by using Belltech 2" drop shackles and removing the factory 2" blocks. I had to cut 2 inches off the factory bump stops in the back because the axles were sitting right on them after I took the factory blocks out. It's sitting almost perfectly level. There is a ?" difference between the back and front. The back being higher. The 4 wheel drive works perfectly with no binding in 4 hi or 4 low. It switches on the fly no prob.

The truck handles like dream, rides perfect and I finally got rid of the huge fender to wheel gap. I was a little worried after reading all the problems guys were having with driveline vibration but not a problem at all speeds.

Total cost: $50.00 for the Belltech lowering shackles.

Before and after lowering 3/4. Top picture is stock height, bottom is lowered.

Nice lookin Sierra. I had my old 2000 Z71 lowered. I am planning om lowering my 05 I was wondering if cutting the bump stops off keeps it from bottoming out. Keep up the good work
