There is a stereo system in the works. The stock system just doesn't cut it. I have the system from my previous truck which includes:

ZacZ71's 2003 GMC SierraPioneer DEH-P740MP Head Unit...Pioneer 12 disc Changer...JL Audio 500/1 Amp...JL Audio 300/2 Amp...JL Audio 10W3 x 2 Subs...MB Quart DSD 216 Components...1 Farad Phoenix Gold Cap...And all the wiring for this system. Pictured to the right is my old system as it was in my S10. The new layout will include all the above in a downfiring configuration under the rear seat. The amps will also be located under the rear seat between the subwoofers. The system will run independent of the factory system.

I plan on installing my Pioneer head unit in the lower pocket in the picture above. Also I'm hoping that I'll have enough room to install my MB Quart drivers in the door panel above the factory speakers. The MB Quart tweeters will possibly be mounted under the dash after I fabricate some custom mounting brackets. If there is enough room I'll surface mount the tweeters behind the stock speaker grill in the door.

CUSTOM SUB BOXES

Custom sub boxes built to hold my JL Audio 10W3's in a downfiring configuration. I used 3/4" MDF throughout with alot of screws and glue. The carpet was applied using 3M spray adhesive.
