Mods so far.
- Nerf bars by Back Country with replaceable rubberized step pads.
- Soft tonneau cover by LeBra
- Removed the chrome body side mouldings.
- Trenz billet grill.
- Extreme white high beam bulbs.
- AirAid intake
- K&N filter in stock air filter box.
- I've also removed the snorkel (plastic piece on the stock air filter box that goes into the fender). By doing this it opens up the whole end of the stock box giving better air flow. At higher RPMs I get a more aggresive engine sound now.
- Lowered the truck 3 inches in the front and 4 inches in the back
- 20 inch wheels (Boss Motorsport model #315 8.5" by 20" Chrome)
- Hankook 275/55 tires (RH06's)
- 3 inch mandrel bent Cat back exhaust with Ravin high flow muffler
- Also I've disabled the automatic headlight feature by unplugging the sensor in the dash and adding a resistor.
- Clompletely independent stereo system with custom subwoofer enclosures mounted under the rear seat
- Qlogic kick panels
- Sprayed in box protection...don't know how I lived without it.
- Wester's Custom Tune...Did wonders for overall performance.
I contemplated removing the chrome body side mouldings for about a month. Then one Sunday afternoon I just went ahead and removed them. While I was at it I removed the Z71 sticker, which I didn't like from day one.
Here are a couple pics with the mouldings removed and the new soft tonneau cover.

Here's what the truck looks like now (before and after lowering 3/4).
