Welcome to my pages featuring LadyHawk, our 2002 Pontiac Firehawk.

In 2002, SLP, Street Legal Performance, built 1501 Firehawks. Our's is build number 1223 and is one of 34 'Hawks built from silver Trans Am's with T-tops and automatic transmissions that year.

She came to us used, with just over 82,000 miles on the clock. Her tires were mismatched and worn, having three Kumhos and a Yokohama. Additionally, they were staggered with 275's on front and 285's on the rear. So the first order of business, as all ladies would know, was to get her some new shoes!
So, sparing no expense, I bought a set of B.F. Goodrich g-Force T/A's, in size 275-40ZR-17 98W. At the same time, the original, warped rotors and worn pads were replaced with PowerStop drilled and slotted rotors along with PowerStop ceramic pads up front and Duralast ceramics out back.
I'm not really planning further mods, although I may add some additional SLP components over time. I'm considering sfc's, a strut tower brace, their adjustable torsion bar and heavy-duty panhard bar. Up next, however, will be new struts and shocks, tierod ends, ball joints and suspension bushings. LadyHawk, you see, is going to be an expensive mistress! But she sure looks good...
