Alright this is my 1958 chevy impala she has been great to work with. They story of the car was that it was drivin hard and parked for 20 years on a native reserve in britsh columbia. The car had the original 6 cyl engine which was shot,so we yanked that out of there and bought a kit for a 350 chevy small block kit to fit into the car. After installing a stock plane jane chevy 350 i decided to start dolling it up.I stuck a edelbrock carb and manifold and billit valve covers and a billit air cleaner and i also stuck the chrome altenator bracket and a brand new chrome altenator she has a flat black chevy timing chain cover and i also bought billit pullies for her and i grabbed some other chrome stuff for here and there. The interior needs redoing still but for now we stuck on some aftermarket seat covers. There is no door panels or headliner in the car but there is a brand new carpet.the whole trunk needed to be redone so we cut the whole thing out of the car and replaced it thanks to auto city classics for providing us with the reproduction parts. We started the body work not to long ago we had to cut out the drivers quarter panel and replace it again thanks to auto city classics. And then came the passengers side it was not near as bad as the drivers side it just needed the panel right before the front of the rear wheel. We have put the disc brake conversion kit in her with the chrome master cylender with the aluminum brake lines we have also had the front end completly overhauled with all new bushings shocks springs a arms you name it we got it redone,We have takin the car out to car shows and people are taking pics of her the interior is all back in it now and shes all together once againthank (god)lol anyways Thanks for taking a peek at the car and please rate her.

Well on february 10 we disassembeld the front end to pull out the tired old 350 chevy small block
we started off by removing the hood and front bumper.

then we took off the center rad support and unbolted everything from the car so the front clip came off in one piece.

Then when that stuff was all done we started with the tranny kick down and the throttle linkage.

Then we started on exauhst.

Then complete disassembley of whatever we could take off to make pulling the motor easier.

63impalaz's 1958 Chevrolet Impalame after lifting the front end can ya tell in tired?

And this is where were at right now the motor is ready to pull and all we have to do is get the cherry picker and get it out of there and drop in the frese chevy 350 small block.
We hope to have it running around again in about 2 weeks.Because we have the firewall and the suspension to clean up again because of the stupid winter. Thanks for looking and ill keep posting new pics.
