heres some pics of when we put on the 23 1/2" innercooler, fun times. All my parts are still not installed, forever a work in progress.
stock but still quick, and still had problems
new exhaust buschur racing 3" from turbo and high flow cat, and a buschur muffler
working on the fmic job, removing the plastic skid plate can be a pain but once you get a system its easier, so far i havent put the skid plate back on and i am thinking of making a custom one made out 16 gauge with strip supports, so the damn bumper doesnt fluctate and move. if your asking yes i broke a little piece of my bumper at 145 because the skid plate wasnt present and the bumper flexed. currently the piece is held on by what was still attached and crazy glue.
another angle, was thinking about removing the horn or finding a different way to route the wire. end result was a small wiring modification and adding 2 zip ties
when is was done, the exhaust and front mount are on but i still have to send in my cpu for the reflash, and put in my cams, clutch, 255 fuel pump, boost controller, and a few others. damn i hate bein in the army and away from my baby
the hard pipe, bov, and the new intake. I had to modifiy buschur "intake bracket" which is a bent piece of metal with a hole in it so the hard pipe and the intake would bump into each other. i found out the under the engine movement the intake was getting dammaged from the hard pipe easy fix and didnt cost anything but a little time
another look at the fmic, things massive and i think i need to be running a larger turbo with 680 injectors. possible a gt35r turbo or maybe a 40r but if i do ill upgrade to a cosworth head, 2.3 ams block, and a buschur produced trany 5 speed. but whos wants to go over 450 horsepower in a daily driver?
the side profile of the fmic with a look at the lower hard pipe. I had to remove the brass bracket from the old intake and some small wiring adjustments so the wires were not hanging from the lack of the previous bracket
