Here some pictures of a shoot me and my girl had ..
Hi my name is Michel Beekman and i am from the Netherlands ! I Drive a Honda Crx del sol of the year 1994. It was milano Red till 2008 , then the car went to da painter for it new candy blue paintjob. I had saved far over 10 000 euro of performance / styling parts . Parts include : NOS power shot injection , Rotora 3D1-GT 165 CM carbon wing , LSD vertical doors , TSW 18 inch wheels , etc etc
In May 2007 i swapped the 1.6 ESI SOHC Vtec engine of my del sol ( with help from friends , THNX Guys ) en replaced it with a japanez H22A 2.2 liter DOHC VTI VTEC. 200 Hp. Before the block went in i putt some hours in making it look nice , and i think it worked ! you be the judge ! The story including pics below !

The H22A swap , from start till Finish ...
My car and the H22A dirrty Engine block ..
Stripped The block so i can paint and clean it !
Started painting the block. Painting it in normal Heat proof
silver so it looks clean
Got back my valve cover from the sandblaster .. Now it clean i can paint it in light blue .. tried to go for the JDM blue butt
the is lighter butt i don t care .. i like this color !
ALso putting in a hole in the valve cover so you can see the Greddy high performance timing belt.
This is how its gonna look with the timing belt on ..
And this is the valve cover painted blue .. Dont worry the H22a letter are already of the sparkplugcover ! was just for fun ! And the VTEC letters are also much better now !
Got some new goodies for the block .. and got everything back from the sandblaster ! NICE !!
Got a SRS RVS 4-2-1 manifold , Arospeed blue wires , Greddy Belt ( got that already butt looked better for the picture ! haha ) , Samco Sport Blue Hosses.
And this is a end result of al my time and hard work ! Looks good right ?
Finally got my Hasport Motorsports H22A INTO DEL SOl motor mounts / engine brackets and my Axles !! Now The swap can
really begin !! YES

Mounting the Hasport motorsport engine brackets / motor mounts and had to remove the original del sol engine bracket.

H22A mounted !! YES YES YES !!
So now everything can be connected , modified, adjusted , etc
Got the Coolsysteem on , and had to modify the fancap so the clutch cilinder can be mounted. one day there going to go a Fluidyne Radiator on with a FAL fan butt for now this wil do.
Modified thottle kabel ..
Mounted the Hasport Motorsports Axles
Adjusting the Fuel suply / hosses ..
Welded the exhaust. Good for now , will change it when i get a other exhaust system and a CAT replacement.
Check how low the exhaust is now !! no more speed dumps for me !!
Because the del sol doesnt have gear linkage with kabels and the h22a does , i had to make a few holes in de del sol , incl the one you see in the pic. There s no way back know !
FINALLY DONE !! YES well done , the wiring had to be done ... that was het biggest thing to do , butt thank god i didnt have to do that ! i can butt i didnt have the time ... Thnx to The powerslider .. who did it for me ! The car runs now and i am
driving slow the first 1000 km because the engine hasn t turned in over a year. How ever .. it runs perfect can wait to see what the result are over 730 km ! haha Keep you updated and please rate my profile !! <----- THNX
