I installed an Edelbrock 650 carb and boy if it didn't wake this beast up. That 430 scoots now. I guess the floats were sticking in the other carb. I pulled the vynil top off and found a bunch of rust just as I expected. I plan to start removing trim soon. I'll post some more pics of the restoration soon.
This stock '67 Riv is my first project. I think it has a 430 Wildcat engine, though I can't be certain because I have not run the numbers. The car is pretty good looking from a few feet away as it has 0 dents, but some dime and quarter sized minor rust spots here and there. She has her imperfections (blinkers don't work), but she starts up every morning for my drive to work.
I installed a JVC head with a couple 1500 watt Sony 12 subs and a couple amps (one is a pioneer, the other some off-brand).
I hope to get the car stripped and into the garage for paint this winter.
