Here is more pics of the tailgate with the chrome back on it...and the chrome around the bed has been replaced.

I was lucky to have the tailgate chrome. Out of 20 or so 73 to 77 El Caminos I have owned this is only the second one I have had that has had the tailgate chrome.

The 350 you see in these pics here is for sale! I bought a 76 El Camino and it had a few good parts like the grill, tailgate, A tilt steering column, good rear bumper...and assorted parts!! more to come soon! I am buying a 454 out of a motor home so this is why the 350 is up for sale.

nice save, lookin good. how hard was the 454 swap? what mount did u use? because ive got a 454 out of an 89 c3500.

hey man awesome el camino, looks like a real sweet project car and i'm loving that 454 sitting between the frame rails, did that 454 come out of a cheyenne or something or where did u get that? and just overall nice El Camino, check out mine sometime if you get a chance
