This is a stock 1960 Chevy Impala 2 door sport coupe. It has about 38k original miles on it with the original 283cui engine and powerglide transmission.
It was repainted recently and I added the dual antennas to the car at that time. The only other alteration to the car is a hideaway stereo located in the glove box and a cd changer mounted in the trunk. That way the stock system is still in place.
I love the styling of these cars and they also give a very nice ride. It gets a lot of attention at the shows. The 1960 Chevy Impala was one of GM's best sellers back in the day, so many people have fond memories of these cars; I am one of them! I had a 1960 Impala convertible in the early 60's and so when I saw this car for sale back in 2000 I didn't have to think much before I decided to buy it and I will never sell it!
