Hello everyone, this is my 1989 Toyota Pickup - Hilux.
I always wanted my truck to look cool at night, so almost all of the original chrome on the Toyota
was painted black. The front bumper and grill, side mirrors and rims, were all blacked out.
Dark tinting on the windows too. There are a few red highlights to add some color; on the hubs,
shock boots and wipers. A little more red inside the cab, Toyota floor mats etc.
The original stock tires were 28 inches, but after adding a 5 inch Rough Country Suspension lift,
I put on some 33 x 12.5 Good Year monster mudders, reversed with the white lettering in.
I used to have a 3 inch body lift as well but had to remove it after too many tickets from the police.
The tickets are called "Altered Suspension", and I was pulled over many times for being way to high.
I also got a ticket for not having any mud flaps, so had to put them on as well, and pull them back
with chains so they don't rub. Got another ticket a few weeks ago when I forgot to wear my seatbelt.
*Sigh, It's still a fun ride though, Haha!

...and a whole lot of repairs for the usual up-keep.
