Carey's Coupe
A 1950 Plymouth Businessmans Coupe a work in progress. The plan is to make this into a hot rod, daily driver for my wife. She has a love of cars, as do I.

Not bad to start. Everything is there!

Well, here goes. (Dec.2006) The teardown. The stock drive train goes and will be replaced with a 390HP, 360 small block Mopar, TCI 904 trans. and a suregrip 8 3/4 with 3.91 gears. A big step up from the old flathead that still ran and is now in a 1952 dodge truck. Next step, replace the rusted out floorboards.

Again out with the old in with the new. With the added horsepower, we needed to upgrade the front suspension and brakes, so a new front stub with a mustang II rack and pinion and disc brakes. I wanted to keep it all Mopar but this was the best way to go. In the end it will be 99% Mopar, and that's not the easiest way to go.

(Aug.2007) The engine, trans, and rearend are in. The fire wall has been cut out and is now being refabricated. Next up, is the steering. More pics to come as we get further along.
I need to thank Johnny for all his help and showing me the right things to do. , My wife, Carey, Patty, Audrey, and anyone else I forgot or will need in the future for there help and support.
