Basically what I'm trying to do is turn this GTO wanna be into a fun muscle car, that I can drive the hell out of on the weekends. I have a 1969 GTO motor that I just got completely rebuilt. I'm expecting it to have over 400hp and close to 500ft/lbs of torque with all my performance parts. I recently bought a 4 speed Muncie m20. The body has a lot of putty but the frame and floor are strong. For an exhaust i was thinking 3inch duels coming out before the rear tires. It's illegal but it should sound sick. I'm going to get edelbrock shocks, sway bars, and traction bars to upgrade the suspension. Then I'm probably gonna have to put a limited slip rear end in it. The last thing I'm going to do is replace the whole body with new metal. Then I'm going to paint it.... uh shiny or flat black.
All the new parts for the 400 block. The comp cams cam shaft is missing from the picture.
Side view.
Stock 1968 350.
The checkered flag pattern is gonna be gone soon. It's gonna be solid black.
I believe thats the original interior. It now has a brand new carpet./b>
The 4 speed Saginaw transmission before i blew reverse.
