Hey there! I just thought I'd share some pics of my Chevrolet Chevelle Laguna Type S-3 with everyone out there that's a Chevelle enthusiast. Anyone else can also take a look. Thanks.

I also have a Nissan Pathfinder page at Cardomain.

It's a 1976 model, it has a 406ci SB V8, a TH350 trans, and 2.73 rear gears. These weren't considered hot rod cars, but they were really unique, and in my opinion, cool looking cars!
Approximately 9200 1976 Chevelle Laguna Type S-3's were produced. They are second in rarity to the 1975 models, of which only about 7500(?) were produced.
The 400ci SB was the largest engine option offered in 1976. It was rated at 215 HP with a 2-bbl Q-Jet carb(in 1974, the 454 was rated at 245 HP, I think, just for comparison). I would estimate that the engine's at around 300 HP at this point, with all the mods taken into consideration.
The engine's been rebuilt once with a slight bore-increase to give it 406ci of displacement. It has an Holley dual-plane Contender intake, 600 CFM Edelbrock Performer 4 barrel carb, a 14x4" K&N filter(custom black paint on the K&N logo), Flowtech 1 5/8" primary headers bolted to dual 3" straight pipes out back to a pair of 3" in-and-out Flowmaster Terminator mufflers with turndowns on them. The ignition is by Accel, with an Accel HEI distributor, HEI supercoil, Accel 300+ race wires and shorty plugs.

...and yes, that chain is holding the engine down. I had a broken motor mount for a short while. Those Erson valve covers are old-school...I got them from a SuperShops store before they all closed down. I also have a chrome K&N breather filter on the opposite side.

I installed a set of 100W PIAA 1500 ion yellow fog lights in the bumper. The headlights on my car are AutoPal H4 conversions, and the headlights are 80W low 100W high ion yellow H4's. The car looks truly distinctive with the ion yellow headlights, in my opinion.

These cars were built to race in NASCAR in the 70's. They were THE reason NASCAR introduced a restrictor plate on some cars, because otherwise they were just too fast and had an unfair advantage. There's a bit of trivia for you that I bet you didn't know! It's absolutely true.

This is what it looked like before I painted the original Turbine II wheels black. I want to get the wheels powdercoated black instead because the paint is starting to flake off.
The tires are Cooper Cobras:
Fronts - 255/60/15
Rears - 275/60/15
I think I've gone through about four sets of rear tires already...*sigh*
