Hello...welcome to my webpage. This page is for my 1997 Nissan 240SX SE. I've had Habu since 07MAY97, when I made the purchase from New City Nissan in Honolulu, Hawai'i. Since that day, I have found this 240SX SE to be VERY reliable and EXTREMELY fun to drive. Though the 240SX is inherently a great shooter out of the box, it can't hurt to tweak here and there...right?

This pic is to show off my custom made "BigDog" spark plug wires from Blue Ridge Foreign Auto Consultants, Inc. in Asheville, NC. 8.5mm MSD Super Conductor Wire was used to make these. (MSD has rated their Super Conductor Wire for 50 ohms per foot. Most aftermarket wires give some vague number. Example: the #1 stock wire was measured @ 7500 ohms. The #1 "BigDog" wire measured 80 ohms. That's 93.75 times LESS resistance!! Now, that's a BIG SPARK!!)

Habu is my daily driver. I'm going to stick with the KA24DE engine and turbo-charge it. All I want to do is to bring the specs up a bit to where I feel the capabilities for the 240SX SE should have been coming off the assembly line. Most of my attention will be towards the powertrain and suspension, the body will get very minor tweaks. Nothing super special all in all, but it should prove to be a potent set-up nonetheless. I hope it will be a tasteful and subtle understatement in tuning that accentuates the strong points of the 240SX, while diminishing the weak ones. (isn't that what it's all about?!)

Wow, love the work you've got done to your Kouki! I just picked mine up, come check it out if you've got a minute. How much did the Z32 brake upgrade cost you with the bigger rotors? I didn't think you could fit a rotor that huge on the factory rims. I love it!
