What's up ya'll?(That means "how are you all doing?")

My name is Josh. I am a caraholic. Doing better since buying my truck... now I'm a truckaholic. I can't get enough of automobiles! I am also a born again Christian and a fundamental independent baptist preacher's son.

Well anyway, this is my truck which I nicknamed Kong. It has the Vortec 4.8 Liter/294cubic inch.

It kinda looks lowered in this pic. I wish it was.

Like that side pipe exhaust? It has a Super 40 Flowmaster single in/dual out with(obviously) both pipes pointed out in front of the back right tire like the Ford Lightnings. Sounds real good!

This pic is kinda creepy I think. Actually that road is kinda creepy period. I kept looking all around me while I was taking pics on this street, LOL!

I've only done a few things to include dual exhaust, the free ram air intake mod + K&N drop in replacement air filter, and a Trans Dapt Torque Curve throttle body spacer. I plan to get a billet grill and Altezza tail lights in the future, but right now the next mod on the list is either to get the ECU tuned or simply buy a handheld tuner like a Predator or Superchip. I can't wait to get this thing faster! I ran a best of 10.61 at the dragstrip in Holt, Fl which is a 1/8 mile track. Only thing I had done was the K&N drop in air filter. Pretty impressive considering how "underpowered" the little 4.8 is..... (Everyone seems to think the 294 motor is so pathetic but in reality the thing is a beast!)

Check out my Toyota Supra MKIII as well! It's a project beater but still worth drooling over or making fun of, whichever you prefer.

Cool rides man, I like the truck the most but I guess thats b/c I'm a truck guy. Did you think of instead rebuilding the automatic trans do a switch for Chevy's 6sp manual? It would really go good with that motor sittin under the hood! Check out my ride and tell me what you think of it.

thanx, that's my "other" The thermostat runs a little cooler, but when you run it moderatly hard, the temps are almost the same as the stock t-stat... crusing on the freeway it stays about 20* cooler, and after some hard runs, its only like 4-5* cooler than a stock tstat. Cheap mod though..

yeah definitely get a tune and not that handheld hypertech or diablo tuner b.s.for your truck, a tune is one of the best modifications to do for our trucks...trust me
