First thing you notice about 'the Beast' is the width.7ft..With a 4.5 litre V8 engine. It's also pretty quick.(350 BHP)Top speed of around 270-280kph(over160mph).Cruises comfortably at 2000-2500rpm(70-75mph) and it doesn't hit the red til 6000rpm. The tyres' at 335-35-17 on the rear and 275-35-17 on the front are a bit pricy but worth it for the smooth ride. Main thing to be careful about is the clearance at the front--very low.Avoid speed bumps and kerbs and be very careful going on the ferry. Interior's very clean and made of Buffalo Hide, completely restored.I particularly like the manual gearbox(much more fun to drive). Feels like an aeroplane on the runway.(I think it uses the same amount of fuel) Wouldn't change it for the world though. If you spot "The Beast" in UK or Europe do let me know.Looking forward to hearing what you think..Cheers, and happy motoring all you car maniacs.

Page one is an introduction to "The Beast", our village and a tour through France and Switzerland.

First three pictures are in our village. A comment or two would be nice in the guest book..Then I could get back to you and compare cars..Write soon!!
Check out page 2..It's all local pubs, places of interest and other great cars when I see them.At the moment It's all in South East England but will move on if there's any interest.Let me know if there's anywhere you'd like to see and I'll do my best..Will keep up-dating.
I've just found the original German number plates.MIL 0415. If anyone can shed any light on "the Beast's" time in Germany I would love to hear from you.

This is my first sighting of "the Beast" Just had to buy it! Then I saw the rear tyres and my mind was made up.

The interior is Buffalo Hide Leather (I don't think it's from the plains of North America)

Our first picture in France. My wife(Liz)as we prepare to leave Alencon(near Le Mans)to head south.

This is outside my friends' house in South of France. Beautiful restored farm house, loads of land, swimming pool etc...
I had to include this picture cos it's from a village in France called CONDOM....Not the best place to burn rubber!!

This is in Monte Carlo. Drove the Grand Prix ciruit.(not so quick with two way traffic),but got the thumbs up from a few Ferrari drivers.Very Hot!!! 38 degrees..Thank god for climate control in the car..

A gas station in Northern France. A motel in mid France in the Loire valley.

Just another Gas station in France.

Outside our son's house in Switzerland. That's our grandson checking out the passenger seat. It'll be a while til he gets to drive

Outside a hotel in Fleurance (southern France)

Le Greuze. Very expensive and very posh hotel in Toulon, France and the view from the bedroom.(Nice secure parking)So it should be for the price.
A very immpressive building in Chateauxdun.Makes the car look tiny.

In a town called Nogent-le-Rotrou I found Shrek!!!

Night time in Nogent-le-Rotrou outside l'Hotel de la Gare.

Waiting at the Channel Tunnel back to England. We had to put the car with the coaches and lorries cos it was too wide for the car bays.Next time we'll use the ferry.

This is the next time we crossed the channel back from France.Aboard the ferry.

England again! Off the ferry in Dover and now waiting for customs clearance.

Back in England.Ouside our local pub.(See page 2)
