HEY GUYS I SOLD THIS WHIP IN DEC. OF '03.
COME CHECK OUT MY CURRENT WHIP.

My 1998 Grand Prix GTP Daytona 500 40th Anniversary Pace Car #1321/1500

Page 1 - Intro, the beginning
Page 2 - My first project, wheels
Page 3 - Fall '02 Glam shots
Page 4 - Misc. pics and mod pics.
Page 5 - Interior Shots.

Every car out there starts out the same way. Stock. Just looks like all the others, nothing real special, maybe a better looking one. Stratches dents and dings are a reality. I'm a person who has to make their car better. It's gotta stand out a bit. Next to a stock one, you'll be able to see differences. Well, that's what I set out to do.

The earliest pics I can find were after I made a "DRL" spoof. These are @ the bottom of the page The bright filament in the parking lamps could be activated by a switch. it looked neat, just like factory DRL's, but It didn't work out the best for me, and out it went.

As it sits today it definately has something about it that's different. The average person might not even catch it. But I'm sure car people do. It's lowered, got the shiny wheels, wide tires, got the stereo, and it's real clean lookin'

Here's how the car sits today.

Oh yeah, did I mention mods??
Here are the mods.

Appearance Mods - Trying to stand out. Since it's a "racecar" because of the wheels.

* High Polished/Gunmetal "Diamond Spoke" 16x8 O.E. wheels
* Reflective Concepts Front and Rear Arrowhead Overlays
* Debadged
* Clear Taillights
* Ventshades
* Black/Grey Custom Interior Scheme
* White Exterior Reflectors
* "SS" Style HD Grilles
* Painted Brake Calipers
* Crystal Clear Parking Lamp housings
* Chrome Lugnuts & Black 97+ Centercaps
* '99 Grand Prix GT Center Console
* Red Gauge Needles
* Translucent Red HVAC Knobs

Performance Enhancing Mods -- Like I'll ever be fast w/out a L67

* 180 degree Thermostat
* RedZMonte Cold Air Intake
* Catco High Flow Catalytic Convertor
* 50 Series Flowmaster Mufflers w/ Dual/Dual Slash Cut Tips
* Removed Resonator
* ATP "Shiftkit"

Electrical/Lighting Mods - Cuz different is cool

* Sylvania Silverstar Headlights
* 4351 to 9006 Headlight Conversion
* EuroLite Xenon Blue 3057's for Parking Lamps
* APC Street Series 3057's for Reverse Lamps
* Pilot "Navigator" Series HID style Fogs
* Pilot Red Taillight LEDs
* No Name Amber Taillight LEDs
* Fogs & HiBeams Override
* Blue Air Dam Neon

Stereo -- After all this wouldn't be Car/Sound Domain w/out stereo. It's modest, but I'm not a SPL freak.

* 2 Rockford Fosgate Punch HE 10" Subs 400Max, 200RMS @ 4ohm
* Sony XPlod CD7000X CD/MD Player 50x4 Max, around 23Wx4 @ 4ohm
* 2 Kenwood 600W Max, 300x1 @ 4ohm Amplifiers
* Kenwood 3 Way 6x9's
* Jensen A-Pillar Tweeters
* Fully Dynomatted Under Carpet and in Trunk

Handling/Braking -- It's Gotta Handle Right?

* Premium Brake Pads (Carbon Metallic Maybe?? -- Were expensive)
* GM Performance Parts Strut Tower Brace
* P245/50ZR16 Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 Tires
* Gabriel VST Performance Struts all around
* Suspension Techniques 2" Lowering Springs

And this is how the car started out a few years ago. bone stock, just a plain one, one among like a million other white B4U Grand Prixs.
