2002 TRD Corolla S.

Thanks for checking out my page! Hope you like what you see.
My car wasn't always an S. It started it's life as a used 2002 model LE with tan interior. Since then I have gutted and completely replaced the interior with that of a 2001 S model. I chose to keep my black front grill because it looks better than the color keyed ones. The only way to distinguish my car from an original S is my LE badge on the back and my LE wheel covers.

I now have working fog lamps, red gauges, charcoal sport seats, the works. So now the best transmission (5 speed) is combined with the best interior (Corolla S) and you end up with an excellent daily driver that still gets 38+ mpg on the highway.

Here are some old pictures before the S retrofit project.

In the pictures above you can see my TRD 7-Piece Lip Kit. This is a very rare part with an estimated production of only 50 in the world. I am also hoping to add some TRD wheels eventually, another of the rarest parts for this car. Toyota has the tendency to release performance packages for vehicles and then discontinue them shortly after. As a result, any of the parts from the TRD Corolla Stage I-III packages are extremely rare.

Here is some pictures from after the interior retrofit.

Inside the car I have a stereo system (detailed on the next page) and a set of toyota oem rubber floor mats. These have lasted much longer than the regular carpet ones and seem to do the trick!

Check out my other pages! The trd parts info page contains info about some trd parts that have long been discontinued for the 8th gen corollas. You're lucky if you own one!
