stillruns72's 1972 Chevrolet ImpalaI got this car for only $1,200 from the Boston area. I bought it after seeing just a few photos of it.
stillruns72's 1972 Chevrolet ImpalaI knew it would need some work. But I didn't know exactly what condition it was in.
stillruns72's 1972 Chevrolet ImpalaWhen it arrived (another $1,200 for shipping), I could see that it was pretty rusty.
stillruns72's 1972 Chevrolet ImpalaThe guy who sold it to me said that it would need restoring.
stillruns72's 1972 Chevrolet ImpalaHe wasn't kidding! After I got it, he said he felt pretty bad about its condition.
stillruns72's 1972 Chevrolet ImpalaI made him feel better when I said "It's a rusty old hunk of junk and I couldn't be happier!".

I do hope to get the car restored soon.
stillruns72's 1972 Chevrolet ImpalaI have been collecting the rare parts off Ebay (TM) for the last 4-5 years. I finally have about enough of the hard to find stuff to get the job done.
stillruns72's 1972 Chevrolet ImpalaI want to go with dark brown paint with a white top. I will show the car for the first few years, then it will be my daily driver for life!

Be sure to check out my trip to Vegas video!

It's a nice looking car too, if you can see the potential in it. I guess it never snows where you live so there are still nice examples of classic cars around in descent shape.
