[3]EXTERIOR/ENGINE:

snowblindburd's 1990 Pontiac Sunbird

Exterior
New set of tires..
Shaved Dealer Badging (Sure makes the car look good!)..
Removed the glue left from the missing moulding piece..

Roof mods:
Webasto Sunroof

Engine Mods:
The Engine is a stock 2.0L Inline 4. It has had a few problems, but this is after 12 years of great operation. It just needed some replacement parts. The only main problem is that my head gasket is leaking oil, because the car just sat a few years before it was mine.

R E P L A C E M E N T S :
New Alternator
New Radiator
New Starter
New EGR Valve
New EGR Valve gasket
New Spark Plugs
New Spark Plug Wiring
New Thermostat
New Rotor
New Distributer Cap
New Horn
New PCV Valve
New TPS
New Vacuum Hoses
More coming

Engine is running like new.

Future Plans [in no particular order]:

Various Body Repairs
Remove rust
Sunbird GT Ground Effects.
Z24 Hood
Not sure exactly how I want to do this, but I will have the back end of the car higher than the front with springs
Repaint Car Current Color (After GFX)
Repaint Upper area of Driver Door (black part)[This summer]
Cold Air Intake (Before Turbo Swap)
Air Deflectors for Doors
GTS Solar Wing II (Possible Paint White)
Sunbird 2.0L Turbo Engine
5 Speed Manual Transmission.
2-2.5" High Flow ehaust after turbo engine. (Possibly with dual mufflers)
Fog Lights
Full "Pontiac" Water Guards

Ground Effects I Plan On:

Sunbird GT Ground Effects:

snowblindburd's 1990 Pontiac Sunbird

Turbo Engine I will get:

snowblindburd's 1990 Pontiac Sunbird

My New Paint Color Selection:
Stock Pontiac Sunbird White, which is the same exact color I have now. I am repainting when I get the new ground effects.

Spoilers/Wings:
I have decided to stay with stock instead of a wing. I like the spoiler I have. I don't really like the look of second gens with huge wings anyways, they look good with stock Z and stock bird spoilers. What is the point of having something that would slow my front wheel drive car down anyways?

DON'T expect any of this too soon, i'll probably only have a couple of new mods by next year...

I just acquired a 1991 Pontiac Sunbird LE and I'm looking to customize it. The engine is pretty poor..the 2.0 L 4 banger. I wanna put a bigger engine in it but am not sure what will fit. I like what you have done to your ride. Would you email me and give me some pointers on how to make my plain jane car better? Thanks!

This is a nice looking Sunbird. I just started my own Project Sunbird myself, it's in the beginning stages but take a look at mine if you would like. I'm always looking for ideas.
