If you ever plan to do a JDM swap on a Legend, do research and find out all wires and sensors to be swapped/modded. The are also other parts such as the passenger side valve cover. Also the EGR valve IF you want it. It's best to exchange everything BEFORE the engine is put in the car.

got this car from a friend. he needed car out of his yard and no one would take it. the engine didnt run and needs another engine. the body is in alright condition. except the hood and two front fenders were attacked by past owners dog.
inside has been ripped out due to car not being used. Radio, air conditioner unit, and dash is ready to be reinstalled, after engine is replaced and runing dash will be completed.
We finally got the car into the shop. We decided to take off the emblems on the back cuz it looks better. Also the hood wouldnt stay up so we just took it off.
The engine that was in it is horrible, not worth the time to fix.BHG.For some reason the camera made the engine look clean. Can't see from the picture much but the valve covers are off. And the inside of the heads are screwed.
I ordered a JDM engine off of ebay from makoto autoparts corp, shipped in two days surprizingly. The engine is nice and really clean. There is no EGR valve on the JDM. Understandable because of the japanese emisions ratings. im not going to switch it also i lose gas mileage, BUT gain horse power. But their are sensors that have to be switched over.
