We bought it for for a weekend driver because I loved to drive my husbands 04 MX5 LS. We found it online and after seeing it up close we realized it was in much better shape than we could of hoped for, so we decided it would be a great show car.
This is at my very first car show, January 2007. I won 3rd place import.
Out of 8 car shows we have placed in 6, in our first year. Two were 1st place in the Ford/Mazda compact class.
This is at Slammin and Jammin 2007, I didnt place my first year.
We have had it for 2 years now and have already spent alot of money and time in it. We have added...........
Red gauges, leather stearing wheel cover, in dash dvd/cd player with screen...... A set of 10" audiobahn subs and Amp with custom fiberglass enclosure which we just replacedwith new material ...
Lambo door kit and 15" wheels, that are now 17's......Red hose kit, Chrome radiator cover, Painted valve cover (not in this picture).
The car was already painted with Hand drawn pinstriping and yes the interior was already done in the Zodiac Fabric, we just replaced all of it.
The car has won several more awards, Here are a few pics of it at the Nashville Autofest January 2008, where it took top tuner. Before we did any of the new interior or exterior mods.
Update, here are pictures of the reupholstery process of the door panel.I have also added new tailights.
!!!!!! I got the rims installed. Not lowered yet in these pictures. I will put up better pics in a few days !!!!!!!!
