On the way to North Island, this red Grand Am kept running up on me, so I'd feed him alittle dust. I finally slow down enough for him to catchup. Looked over to see this guy holding up the sign. My wife conveviently points to the HEMI emblem on the fender. The guy then nods and thumbs up in approval.

The wife and kids spent the week volunteering at the Lakeside Rodeo Grounds helping with the horses and other animals. While there, my wife got a pic of the Charger inside the arena.

Went camping for Thanksgiving in Potrero, CA. Dano picked up his RAM last Thanksgiving. As for the other pic, I cannot confirm or deny that this is a "authorized" vehicle.
Had a great time camping and alot to be thankful for.

Kids had their "Winter Formal" at SDSU. Their friends and them wanted to go in style, so took them in the Charger. Notice my son's tie. Couldn't be bought anywhere, so my wife being the crafty woman she is, had me get the material and made one for him! Guarantee nobody else had that color there. SWEET!!!

Family went snowboarding. How cool that the colors of the snowboards that Mom and Sis used matched the Charger. Close-up pic of the HEMI emblem on the Charger and that the son's board is not just a "5150" board, but a 5150 "HEMI" board. Taking "HEMI" from the streets to the slopes!

While out at lunch I saw this new Challenger in the back 40 of a parking lot, so thought it would be cool to get a quick pic. After I took the pic the owner came up and complimented me on my car as I was doing the same to him. He had his car exactly one week, I had mine exactly one year. :o)

CHRISTmas 2008 - Lake Arrowhead / Snow Valley:

...........Prior to taking off on the road for vacation, Ky and I did some brake work on the Charger.
.

Pads needed to be replaced. Brakes are a good thing when driving in the mountains.
.
On Christmas Day, Mom and the kids normally go boarding and sking. Well, when you add 2 ft of snow, then add an all day down pour, you guessed it! A big sloppy mess! No Snow Valley today. Ended up going back to the cabin just in time for it to start sleeting. By morning, everything was ice!

.....2/9/09 Trip To Snow Valley for Snowboarding
..........Everyone but me had the day off. So the family and a friend headed north and hit blizzard like conditions once past San Bernandino. The trip, was an adventure. But boarding in fresh powder, how sweet is that !?!

..........Vicki and I were in cruisin' on Mast Blvd. this week and while driving I caught a glimpse of something in the rearview mirror. Well, here is what passed us.
Caught up to him at the next light and gave a thumbs up. The officer rolls down his window and says, "only a guy in a "sub lime" charger would give me a thumbs up"
How cool it would be to have a job where you get to drive a HEMI Charger!

ENCOUNTER
..........Living in Southern Califronia is great! You never know when or where you might run into the celebrity types. As for me, Ky and the Charger, it happened last week! They were one of the three team finalists on BULLRUN : Season 2, which was TEAM CORVETTE, aka TEAMSTRANGE!!!
How you saw them on TV, that's how they they are in real life. Genuine ,down to earth and gearheads!
Well, throw a little crazy in there too!
I think Ky-man is showing his approval of one of TEAMSTRANGE's lovely assistants!
If you ever get the opportunity to meet or hang out with Steve and Elvis, DO IT! Not because they are "here today, gone tomorrow" type of people. They are not slackers by any means, plus, it's just cool hangin' with TEAMSTRANGE! I don't think we've seen the last of Elvis Strange and Steve McCabe.
