This was my 88 Black Acura Legend LS. It was a daily driver with 170000 miles on it. Its hard to believe but this car still rans strong. I was searching for some great sound that would be enough for me and enough for the judges if i ever planned to compete. Ive bought everything piece by piece, and literally had to starve myself to do so. i hope you like my setup. ( These are some older pics, Xtant amps, Dex P1r, and CDX-Pd6 are uploaded yet
Heres what i currently have:
Head Unit: Pioneer Premier Dex-P1r
Cd Changer: Pioneer Premier Cdx-Pd6 In Dash 6 Cd changer( JUST ADDED!)
Front Stage: Focal 6.5" Polykevlar Series components
Back Stage: Focal 6.5" Polykevlar Series components
Mid/High Amp: Rockford Fosgate Punch 600a4
Subwoofers: 2 12" Kicker Solo-baric L7's
Sub Amp: Xtant 1001dx
Signal Processors: Audiocontrol EQX
Electrical: Optima Yellow Top, 1 Farad digital Lightning Audio Cap
Wires: Monster Cable
Security: Viper ESP 600
I sold my whole system along with the car in january 2001, and bought a 97 honda prelude. No more system for me, maybe in the future. Spending my money on performance instead. Building a system was fun as hell but Im gonna do something different now. Now its all Race, No bass. Love my new car.

meateater's 1988 Acura LegendThis is a picture of my right door with my flush mounted Focal tweeter. I didnt take a picture of my 6.5 inch mid driver because it is mounted behind the factory grill in the factory location.
meateater's 1988 Acura LegendMy Pioneer Deh-8000r deck. This is the old deck I used to have. I have the Dex-P1r now because my 8000 broke. Pictures coming soon. I also now have a Pioneer Premier Cdx-Pd6 In dash changer.

meateater's 1988 Acura LegendFocal Polykevlar 6.5 inch component set for my rear deck too. These speakers are simply amazing. Crossovers are all hidden.
meateater's 1988 Acura LegendAnother closer shot of my tweeter. it is 1 3/4 inch in diameter. The phase plug and inverted dome design make it quite interesting to look at.
meateater's 1988 Acura LegendMy odometer proves that this Legend is a daily driver. 171,000 miles and still running great.
meateater's 1988 Acura LegendMy new Audiocontrol EQX. 13 band equalizer/crossover. Does a great job of equalizing my whole system. 6 outputs.
meateater's 1988 Acura LegendA trunk shot of my system. You can see 2 12" Solobaric L7's, a Punch 600a4( powering the component sets) linked to a Power 800a2(For the subs), a 1 farad Lightning Audio Digital Cap, and the Audiocontrol EQX.
meateater's 1988 Acura LegendA closer shot of my Solobaric L7's. These speakers are amazing. I owned the D series before these. And believe me these are much better. The hype is for real. These speakers have great sound quality and can get very loud.
