This is a new pic of my new rebuild with the new turbo, I used the turbo off of an mr2 that I had upgraded. I have more pics of the entire rebuild that I will post later. So far I've added power windows, did an eclipse interior swap, and a custom gauge panel, as for power I've custom made a 3" downpipe with custom exhaust that exits through 2 2.5" mufflers, kinda look like an M5's exhaust....

---------------------------------------
5 Months later and I now have a completely built up engine by RPW with forged pistons with compression raised to 9.5:1 up from the stock 7:1. I'm running a 1G Eclipse MAF sensor, and i finally ran my Greddy Type S BOV.

I have yet to install my intercooler but it's coming very soon.

I'll post the new pics when it's installed.

Well I now have no A/C in the truck since the A/C condenser between the grille and the radiator is too thick to allow the mount of the intercooler, I'll have to get one from a civic since they have such small condensers. You have to keep your priorities straight, speed or comfort? I choose speed, hands down. As of now I had my mass air flow sensor modified to accept a Mustang K&N filter I also had a 2.5" custom hard pipe kit made up for my intake piping, and the same piping is to be used on my exhaust with a custom down pipe, no cats, I also had to have my driveshaft shortened 2". They ran a new return fuel line to my fuel tank. Pierre told me that with that 2.5" piping on the intake and exhaust, eliminated balance shafts, lightened flywheel, mod'd MAF sensor, K&N filter, and no cats, that my truck will be very close to 245hp and 280 ft.lbs, which makes for an incredible power to weight ratio in a 2300lb. truck.

This is my 1988 Mitsubishi Mighty Max, better known as the beast. The stock motor currently has 278,000 miles on it and has never been rebuilt, and it continues to run strong no matter how hard I push it. It still runs flawlessly with no smoke, unless I make the air/fuel ratio too rich. The only two problems I have with it is that it's slow and the front and rear seals have started to leak a little, but it still runs great. I recently purchased a Weber 32/36 carby to replace the old gummed up one because I didn't feel like rebuilding it. It added a little kick, but not much, I don't really think it was worth the $400 I spent on it, but maybe I just don't have it adjusted correctly, but it sure sounds mean when I get on the gas, it definately suprises unexpected ricers...
