This is my 1983 Camaro Z28. I bought it as a stock street car seven years ago at the age of 16. The car itself is completely stock with no brake or suspension upgrades done to it.
The day after I bought it, the old 305 and trans was in the garbage. I have since built a 355ci small block for the car. It is a 4 bolt main 350 from a 78 Blazer bored 30 over with flat top pistons, a custom ground hydraulic Comp cam, Comp roller tip rockers, 64cc Vortec heads from a 96 Chev truck, Edelbrock RPM Airgap intake and a 750 H.O Holley. I have 2 14" electric fans and a CSR high volume electric water pump. The power steering has been replaced with a manual steering box from a 85 S10. I am using stock GM HEI ignition. It has a TH350 trans with a B&M shift kit, a 3500 stall converter and a B&M Prostick shifter. It had the stock GM 7.5 rear end with 3.73s and an Auburn posi until the last race of the 2002 season when I left it on the starting line on its 189th pass. I have now purchased a 9" Ford from Moser Engineering with 3.70's, a full spool and 31 splined axels. With low 1.60s 60fts, the 3200lbs car pulls the left front wheel 4" off the ground and will run low 11.40's@ 118mph.
This is the day i brought it home. January 1, 2002

Some fun at the race track:

The 2005 Division 3 Bracket Finals in Norwalk Ohio

This is a picture of the interior. Nothing real special, just the stock seats, a B&M Prostick shifter and an Autometer tach with shift light.

This is a picture of the car waiting to recieve its new motor.
