I bought this truck for a work truck in May 2007. I payed $900. Its a 2WD, XLT, Lariat, long box. Has cruise control, non-working A/C, folding rear seat, and sliding rear glass. Under the hood it has a 5.8L high output V8 4 barrel. On a good day it gets 10 miles to the gallon. The rear diff is a 328. It doesn't look too pretty but I have plans to fix it up. I purchased it from the original owner, who was almost retired when he bought it. It just rolled up 172,000km. I had the transmission fluid changed and filter cleaned, and rear seal and modulator replaced in the tranny too. I did all the regular tune up stuff, including changing the rear diff fluid, repacking the bearings, and other little stuff people don't tend to think of. I'm going to fix it up piece at a time, I already have a 'new' tailgate from an '82, some chrome valve covers, and some fender inserts. I plan to remove all the exterior trim and give it a nice healthy blue coat, put a spray on box-liner in, tear out the emissions pump and all its hoses (yup, you don't need it in Alberta) along with the A/C pump and all its junk to clean out under the hood a bit. I want to put some 295 radials on it, and tinker with the engine a bit. Not sure what else, but we'll see as it goes.

Here are some pics of the trouble spots on the body:
Behind the front tires
cab corners
And over the rear tires
And this is the "new" tailgate
These mudflaps are golden, I wouldn't trade them for anything.
