I have never seen a hood scoop on a 1st Gen Talon or Eclipse so I started to design one.

STEPS TO MAKE A SCOOP

STEP 1: take a tape measure and level and measure the roof from side to side finding the center (it is 21in to the center)

Step 2: tape a line level at the center of the roof. (Note: masking tape is the best tape to use)

Step 3: Mark were the scoop will start its assent by taping the roof again.

Step 4: Mold the cardboard however you like.

Step 5: take small chicken wire and bend it under the cardboard so the wire makes the same form.

Step 6: Buy Bondo Fiberglass and cote the wire so it cannot be seen any more. it will start to look good let dry.

Step 7: Sand the paint down to bare metal about two inches from were the scoop lays.

Step 8: Put the scoop on centered and bondo the scoop onto the roof sand down till smooth

Sep 9: last but not least Primer the spot were the bondo was laid including the scoop.

THE ANTENNA

After Shaving My antenna I grounded it to the body surprisingly I get awesome reception.

On December 17 I finally started to do the bodywork on the car. So far I have primed it black constructed a roof scoop that I took off for the time being. I plan on next chopping the roof. After that I plan on painting the car Viper gts blue with a silver metallic clear blend

The First Step was to take the old hatch off and install the newer one off of a 1994 Eagle Talon TSI.

AFTERtalonhybrid's 1990 Eagle Talon

First I pulled the my entire front-end
off.

Then I had to cut out all the excess Metal that framed the old lights the popup lights. The fenders hood and front end had to be changed out for this to work.

hey, my email is suhas__b@hotmail.com i had a few questions for you, i have a 92 AWD turbo talon. The timing belt broke while i was driving it and the my mechanic said the valves are broken and it already has 257K. so instead of fixing it i'm going to replace the engine, but turbo engine are too expensive ($1400 canadian) so i'm thinking of putting in a non turbo engine with AWD. I'll also do a header back exhaust do give the engine a little more power to handle the AWD pressure. I wanted to know what you had to change on your car to do the swap. so far on my list is non turbo engine, computer, wiring harness. Did you have to change the speedometer cluster? please email me, it would be really appreciated.
