After driving the truck for about a year I was concerned that the stopping distance could be better (especially considering the 35's a quite a bit bigger than stock and the only mod's to the braking system where Braided Stainless hoses). With this in mind I bought some Terraclaw discs. These are the same as the standard vented discs but are grooved to give the pads better bite. At the same time I fitted 30mm wheel spacers all round to the truck a wider stance.

When removing the stock Toyota free wheeling hubs I found that the entire spring in one hub was broken into lots of little pieces. When I tried to replace this spring the price was more than the cost for a complete hub. As the price for a complete hub was more than a set of Warn Premium hubs I replaced the standard hubs with these much better and easier to service models.

i love the truck. i have a 91 pickup 6" lift with 32" all terrain tires. but i was wondering how many feet or meters you used of tubing for your brush guard, roll bar and bumper?

I LOVE YOU RIDE!!!! I do have a couple questions for ya'... 1) Was it originally equipped with front leaf springs? (mine has Torsion bars) and 2) How did you compensate for the extreme angles on your CV's and U-Joints?
Please take a look at my Hilux Surf and let me know what you think, and I'm open to any recomendations you may have :) -Ken Jacque
