Car is almost all stock. 383 Magnum (H-Code 330 horsepower) with a 727 automatic tranny, 323 Sure Grip rear gears. The color is B5 blue with a light/dark blue interior.
Production figures indicate that a total of 18,754 of the 92,590 1968 Chargers were powered by a 383-4 bbl which had 330 HP

My finshed projects include removing the front/rear bumpers, door handles for rechroming. Changing out the tail lights and the surrounding trim. Painting the rear panel black. Adding a bumble bee strip, replacing the side marker lights, new "C" and check moulding on the rear tail panel. Installed new seat covers, headliner, carpet. Repainted the front grille, new emblems all around.

I'll take pics as I do it. One thing you learn real quick about these cars are that they are not cheap! The prices may seem high for the reporduction parts, but I'm just glad they are reproducing the parts for this car!

Cragars, for that "old school" muscle car look. Front tires 215/60/15 and rears 275/60/15.

Always get this car looks like the 68 Charger from the movie Christine. It is basically the same car.
Pictures from the movie and a danbury diecast model of the car (if anyone has a diecast for sale, contact me).

Some Photoshop pictures with a six pack scoop added. Should I add it or leave it alone? Consenses so far, if I added it. make the whole hood black.

My new ride: 1967 Firebird 400

Future plan is to buy a 2009 Challenger. I'm waiting for the hype to be over with the 2008 models. In addition, just like the new mustang, new options and variations of the car came out over time. I'm hoping for a shaker hood option, an R/T version and maybe they'll offer a 426 hemi motor option under the hood for old times sake!

I LOVE B5 Blue!!! It's cool to see how they changed it from your car to mine... Thanks to Christine, I've always wanted a '68 Charger in B5 Blue. Given my finances, I got the next best thing, a '09 B5 Blue Dodge Challenger. Sweet car, brother and I HIGHLY recommend the new Challengers!
